Greyson Turner is a 13 yr old Dawkins Middle School student. He started singing and acting at age 6 and over the past six years has been in commercials, several indenpendent films and in February of 2011 worked in a soon to be released film that stars James Caviezel, Jaimie Alexander, Sam Shepard and Bradley Whitford called "SAVANNAH". In 2009 Greyson spent 6 months in Las Vegas working for Cirque du Soleil on their show "VIVA ELVIS". Upon his return to Spartanburg, he did not slow down. He played "Mike Teevee" in Spartanburg Theatre's production of "Willy Wonka" at the Chapman Curtural Center and I.Q. in the Greer Little Theater musical "Hairspray". He also just this week returned from a three week movie shoot in Nashville for "A Season of Miracles" that stars John Schneider "Bo Duke" and Greyson Russell "Fragley" from "Diary of a Whimpy Kid". Currently he is spending much of his time working on his guitar and trying to write some of his own music and will be performing at the Skakespeare Festival in Charlotte on June 9,10 and 17 and at the farmers market in Spartanburg on June 30 and July 11. In the past he has performed at local festivals, including Spring Fling and Creative Taste, as wells as at open mic nights at "The ShowRoom" in Spartanburg, "Smiley's" in downtown Greenville and at "TheBlue Bird Cafe" in Nashville, TN.
